Judith Reitman is an award-winning journalist and author whose work has appeared in leading magazines and newspapers and been featured on national television and radio. She is the author of several non fiction books which have been favorably noted by The New York Times, LA Times, Chicago Sun Times, Publisher's Weekly (dozens more) as well as NPR Radio. Judith founded and directed the first women's prison writing and repertory theater company: The North Carolina Women's Prison Writing and Performance Project which became nationally recognized as a breakthrough  education and humanitarian program. Board members included Maya Angelou. Judith taught journalism at Quinnipiac University and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a Fellow at the Jordan Institute for Families at the UNC School of Social Work.  Judith is a graduate of the Duke University program in Non Profit Management.

She divides her time between France and the U.S.
